Help
Klal Chat is a group chat that runs on ordinary text messages: your group has one phone number, and whatever you text to it goes to everyone in the group. There is no app and nothing to sign up for. Everything else is a short command:
Commands for members

Commands for admins

Admins also get a website for the group: the member list, how many texts are left this month, adding more, and billing.
Coming soon An automated phone line that does all of that from a keypad instead, for admins with no internet — start a group, pay, add and remove people, change the plan, cancel — in English, Yiddish and Hebrew. It is not open yet.
Joining a group
If the admin added you, reply YES to the invitation text. If you have the group's join code, text JOIN CODE (for example JOIN K7M2PD) to the group's number.
When you join with the code, or with an invitation you asked for on the join page, everyone in the group gets a text saying who joined: your name, if you gave one, and the last 4 digits of your number. People the admin adds are not announced.
Does this cost me anything?
Not to us — one person, the group's admin, pays for the group. Messages you send and receive count as ordinary texts on your own phone plan, which for most people is unlimited.
